Hey John - Now you got me curious, I'm not familiar with Aon but will definitely see if I can find anything on youtube.

angel. there were two cd singles released in 1993. quiet joys and be yourself. there was the album Aon too.

quiet choices is on youtube. one has just the music, it shows the cd single cover while it's playing.

there's also quiet joys of brotherhood vid which is a produced video but i don't know who by. whether it's Aon's vid or a fans vid, i don't know.

my cd single of quiet joys says the tracks were written by burton/farina - produced by simon rodgers on survival records..

Quiet Joys of Brotherhood

As gentle tides go rolling by,
Along the salt sea strand
The colours blend and roll as one
Together in the sand.
And often do the winds entwine
Do send their distant call,
The quiet joys of brotherhood,
And love is lord of all.

The oak and weed together rise,
Along the common ground.
The mare and stallion light and dark
Have thunder in their sound.
The rainbow sign, the blended flower
Still have my heart in thrall.
The quiet joys of brotherhood,
And love is lord of all.

But man has come to plough the tide,
The oak lies on the ground.
I hear their tires in the fields,
They drive the stallion down.
The roses bleed both light and dark,
The winds do seldom call.
The running sands recall the time
When love was lord of all.

[Richard Fariña/ Sandy Denny]

on the second cd single, be yourself, is the main track, followed by waiting, and the emotional 'through time'.

be yourself was writen by t.r harney. the other two by g. burton - taken from the cd 'Aon'

you tube - Fairport Convention - Quiet Joys of Brotherhood (Audio) this is the unreleased track that was added onto a probably cd reissue of liege and thief album.

confusing it a bit more, there is a quiet joys of brotherhood by sandy denny on youtube - sends a shiver down me.

and it turns out that quiet joys was an unreleased ariport convention track.
type in google - or even in youtube, aon - be yourself
