going back to around 1991 or 1992, one afternoon on a weekend, which i thought was a saturday, could turn out to be a sunday. i was going through the radio and came across an irish channel on medium wave, and by some quirk of luck, it was hothouse flowers and i seemed to catch the start of the set in time. apparently it was some open air concert, ... See Morea festival.
i hadn't heard this song before and thought it was something new. all i can really remember about it was it was movies eque. it wasn't a fast song, but a movies rhythm and feel. and the only bits i can remember were the lyrics "who gave you the key?"
i have looked at the official site tour archive, and it could possibly be phoenix park. as i thought i had caught the beginning, it doesn't match the playlist. the only other song it possibly could be is Which Way.. but, looking at the official site again, i noticed the
benzini brothers. could this possibly be what i heard? |
