TEAMS

Adlington Cricket Club has fielded teams since the 1890's. At one point, 3 senior teams were playing. At the moment, we have two senior squads and four junior squads. Players come from the village and surrounding areas.

The 1st XI employs a professional - Iain Critchley. We welcome Iain back who was a former junior player and has returned to us to pass on his knowledge and great understanding of the game.

Senior players are encouraged to coach the junior teams. Players aim to progress from the 2nd XI into the 1st XI, as do many of the junior players. We have five coaches who coach our four junior sides, U11’s, U13’s, U15’s, and U18’s.

Winter nets are currently being arranged.

Summer 2008
Junior Practice every Friday evening 6 - 8pm.
Senior Practice every Tuesday evening 6.30pm - 8.30pm.
